I am always on the hunt for purple and gold clothes to wear for LSU gameday, but I also like to style everyday neutrals when I’m on the sidelines. You don’t necessarily want to invest in a ton of items that won’t transition from gameday to everyday, so I’m showing you how you can wear your gameday outfit and accessories once the football season is over.
I am doing a gameday giveaway + a special promo code, so keep reading this post to see how to enter!
With the right accessories, this basic heathered gray dress by JaneHudson can be styled perfectly for LSU gameday (and for your school of choice). JaneHudson was founded on the mission to create a brand of luxury basics for gameday to everyday, and this dress is a perfect example of that! Purple and gold accessories, like my necklace and tiger scarf, make this neutral dress perfect to wear while you are cheering for the Tigers on Saturday and going to brunch with your girlfriends on Sunday. Since it is getting a tad cooler at this point in the season, I would wear boots and a scarf with this dress for an LSU gameday.
I also like how this dress ties in the front in case you indulge in too many snacks and spirits while you are out tailgating. JaneHudson offers multiple styles of dresses, skirts and tops in lots of college colors that can be tailored for your specific gameday. I have followed this brand on Instagram for a while, because I would love to wear some of their signature striped gameday options, but they currently don’t have anything specific for LSU. However, they are currently securing the perfect purple and white stripe to use for future designs! (More to come on that soon…)
This dress is also a good transitional piece when it comes to factoring in the weather on gameday since it works as a nice layering piece. It can easily take you from football to basketball to baseball season and all days in bewtween. Once gameday is over, wear a denim jacket and tennis shoes to make this dress ready for any day of the week. Swap your tennis shoes with some heeled booties and you have a new work outfit as well!
A small run of this dress was produced, and while you can’t shop it on the website right now, you can email firstname.lastname@example.org to custom order it. They will be producing more of this style in this color and other options soon, so you can sign up for their newsletter on JaneHudson.us to find out when it becomes available and follow them on Instagram.
No gameday outfit is complete without a stylish clear bag! Like most other college stadiums and NFL venues, all LSU athletics events require fans to carry clear bags. I have shared some of my favorite clear bags on the blog before (here and here), but I received this clear bag from the Geaux Clear Collection this season and am a little obsessed with it. Since this post is all about transitioning your gameday outfit to wear after football season, this is a perfect way to use your clear purse after gameday. I added a little flair on mine with this gold tassel keychain that can be removed and added to any of your other bags. The structure of this bag paired with the gold chain and stud details make it a perfect option for a night out.
I love it so much that I am actually giving one away over on Instagram, so head to my page to see how to enter!
With the holidays right around the corner, any of the bags from the Geaux Clear Collection would make perfect Christmas or graduation gifts. So, I have partnered up with them to help you shop for the holidays (or in case you see a little something you want for yourself) with this special promo code!
Use the code MVP to receive 15% off your
Geaux Clear Collection purchase (good through 11/25)!
I can’t believe we only have two games left of this football season. I feel like it goes by quicker and quicker each year. We head to Tennessee this weekend and then are back home after Thanksgiving for the Texas A&M game. Even though football gamedays are about to be over, that doesn’t mean gameday content over here is ending anytime soon, especially since you can transition your gameday outfits so easily!
