I am so excited about this week’s gameday post, because I have the opportunity to feature and work with a local brand from right here in Baton Rouge – SFT. One of the main things I wanted to do with this blog was to feature local business in our community and throughout Louisiana that I personally love to support. I think we live in one of the most unique states and want to share it with all of you.
I first saw these t-shirts on Instagram and knew I wanted to try them, but it was so hard to decide on which one. Since I couldn’t decide on one shirt, I also couldn’t edit all the pictures down to one post, so here is Part I of my SFT posts this week.
First of all, let me say these t-shirts are unbelievably comfortable. You can tell in the pictures that it is going to be a comfy tee, but when you put them on it’s even better. The first tee I wanted to style was one that could, of course, be worn on LSU gamedays. I am wearing their Louisiana State Pride shirt in purple and gold.
SFT has a whole section dedicated to Gameday shirts on their website, and there are many other purple and gold and LSU themed shirts to choose from. Some of my other favorite options for gameday are these brand new styles that were just released this week – Louisiana Saturday Night and the Louisiana Checklist crew t-shirt. Chance of rain? NEVER!
I am not a fan of fitted shirts. In fact, I buy a lot of clothes that are too big for me, because I do not like it when arm holes are tight or if a shirt hugs me too close. I am the last of five kids, and I will always remember my mom buying things a little too big and saying, “You will grow into it.” Well, I’ve stopped growing but still think of this when I go to buy new clothes. I am wearing a size small for reference, and I like how the fit is a little bigger than a fitted t-shirt but not too baggy.
SFT’s slogan is, “Southern Style. Everyday Life.”, and you can easily wear these t-shirts with jeans or shorts and throw them on for gameday or any day. They are as comfy as your favorite tee already in your closet, yet more stylish to be able to come up with a full look if you decide to.
My tiger necklace is from one of my new favorite local jewelry designers here in town – Mimosa Handcrafted. Madeline’s pieces are going to be perfect for holiday gifts, and I already have some on my Christmas wish list as well. She is inspired by all things Louisiana, and her jewelry is truly unique to our community.
This has been one of my favorite posts to write so far, because I am so excited to be able to work with and feature a local brand. Since I am a lover of all things local, there will be a second post on the blog with how I styled one of SFT’s Baton Rouge themed t-shirts. (And not to give anything away, but I think it is my favorite look so far on the blog!)
You can find my other posts with SFT here, here, here and here.
This post is in partnership with SFT, a local brand that I love. All styling and opinions are my own.
