This upcoming week is going to be a busy one for the LSU Football team, so I am going to need every minute of sleep and every extra minute in the morning getting ready. This is where my new One Minute Outfit series really comes in handy. And, surprise, it’s another dress this week!
The quickest way for me to get ready in the morning when I am in a rush is to throw on a dress. That way I only have to pick out one piece of clothing to wear instead of a top AND pants (and then possibly a belt). That 6o seconds just turned into 10 minutes. See what I mean?? Please let me know I’m not the only one.
I am mildly obsessed with stripes, especially J. Crew stripes. Each year I buy the same shirts and dresses in different striped patterns. This cream and navy striped dress was picked up from J. Crew Factory and is a year around staple in my closet. I can’t find this exact one right now, but one of the things I love about J. Crew is that they bring back customer favorites and closet staples each year and each season. I am pretty confident that the retailer will have this dress available in the spring and summer next year. Until then, this is a great fall option that achieves the same style.
I am a huge fan of mixing prints together. Like I have said before, this is the former J. Crew employee in me. (See my Mix and Match Prints like a Pro post and Summer ‘It’ Dress post.) I think stripes and leopard were made for each other, especially when the main stripe color is a neutral like this cream. I just realized I also used a pop of leopard in my first One Minute Outfit post.

I hope these posts give you some ideas for outfits to put together as well as save you a few extra minutes in the morning or whenever you are getting ready! I’m hoping to shoot a few more during our bye week, and then I can wear them all to work in November which will be the busiest month of my life!
Happy Monday, and I hope you all have a fabulous week!!
