Football is a huge part of LSU, but it is not the only thing going on around campus. I know I tend to get caught up in my own little football bubble, so this spring I am setting out to re-explore our beautiful campus. This university is rich in tradition and you see that in every corner of campus. Even though you can’t attend a game in Tiger Stadium right now, here’s a little lagniappe for you. I have five things for you to do at LSU this spring.
1. LSU AGCENTER DAIRY STORE
This is one of my favorite hidden gems on campus. The LSU AgCenter Dairy Store offers a variety of ice cream flavors made with the milk from cows who live on LSU’s campus. LSU is an agricultural and mechanical university, and you get to reap those benefits at the Dairy Store. There are around 15 flavors to choose from including Tiger Bite and my personal favorite – mint chocolate chip. The Dairy Store also sells coffee, espresso, smoothies, chips, soft drinks, cookies and candy.Keep Reading
